In Moscow, the final of the third stage of the P. Ledenyov Cup among men was completed.March 21, in the capital of Russia took place the decisive competition of the third stage of the P. Ledenyov Cup. In the final, the strongest athletes performed, including six representatives of Belarus: Ivan Khamtsov, Vladislav Melkozerov, Maxim Maruk, Daniel Belyakovich, Vladislav Berezovik and Nazara Sivitsky. Belarusian athletes showed decent results, and Ivan Hamtsov rose to the podium!
The competition began with a discipline of "obstacle course". The best result here was shown by the Belarusian Maxim Maruk, who scored 377 points and captured the leadership after the first try. The same results were shown by Nazar Sivitsky and Russian Timofey Popov (367 points). The third in results were Timofey Hamtsov and Daniil Beliakovich, both from Belarus, with a score of 366 points.
Next, the athletes switched to fencing. In the final tournament, the best result was shown by the Russian Egor Gromadsky (250 points). The second player in the fencing tournament was Belarusian Ivan Hamtsov, who scored 244 points. Third place - with Maxim Maruk (238 points), fourth - with Daniil Beliakovich (236 points).
In the swim, the fastest at distance was the Russian Roman Gusakov (321 points). The second result was shown by Valery Shchukin (319 points), the third place kept behind Egor Gromadsky (314 points).
The final discipline - laser run - became the decoration of the tournament. The best result in the race was shown by the Russian Kirill Manuilo (717 points), second place to Anton Gachild (681 points), third - to Andrei Bobrov (679 points). Belarusian athletes have done a worthy distance, maintaining positions in the overall standings.
